What are your thoughts on the new Toyota recall of 373,000 Avalon models?
Dangerous steering interlock failures which can cause loss of control under certain conditions. What is the proper thing one should do if you own a Toyota Avalon and encounter a steering lock up at 60 mph? Thank you. Please see the breaking news link below for the latest Avalon steering failure recall.
nothing, this recall affects old cars, why should you even bother not many would drive them, besides as long as your power steering fluid is changed every 30K, 60K, 90K, 120K, etc... it should'nt bother you so much.
The proper thing to avoid a fatal accident is to make sure you pump enough iron to have arms strong enough to break the steering lock so you can still steer the car. It will be the drivers fault if his/her arms aren't strong enough to do this and Toyota should not be blamed.
It's interesting that the die-hard appear to not want factual information about Toyota products to be aired. Do they not want other Toyota owners/drivers to know the truth?
The steering lock bar defect also includes Land Cruiser SUVs.
And now the Lexus has been added to the latest recall. Will Toyota's string of serious defects, recalls and laughingly labelled " voluntary safety campaign" never end?
