help with toyota pickup 4x4 22re piston in cylinder 1?

Default help with toyota pickup 4x4 22re piston in cylinder 1?
how difficult is it to fix a 86 pickup 4x4 piston in cylinder 1. Im not a mechanic but i do have common sense to get it done. what s a brief I need to take off to fix this problem

Well it could be a variety of things. First your going to have to take off the Head and take a look inside. Depending on what's wrong with it you might have to bore our the cylinder depending if it damaged the block or not. But its going to be a time consuming fix being that you have to take half of your motor apart.

was the engine swapped? because they didnt put 22re motors in toyota until the 90s. if it is a 22r carburated motor, it wont be as hard as a fuel injected motor.















And of course, cylinder 1 will be the easiest because it is right in front of you..
