Default 2002 toyota camry won't Idle?
I have a 2002 toyota camry 4 cylinder which will not idle, car is fuel injected. I have replaced the plugs & added a can of 3M fuel injector cleaner, there is no skip but will not idle considering idle control valve. any help will be greatly appreciated

well, no check engine light?















It would be a good idea to have the car hooked up to a Proper scan tool or diagnostic unit to see which sensors are reading what.















The mass airflow sensor would be a good thing to look at in this case. I'm sure its removeable for inspection, perhaps you could clean it as well... but its not as common a problem on your car as say, and Echo.































The car runs fine above idle? Not like it has a misfire, as they won't idle nice on 2 or 3 cylinders....































This would be a place to start in having it hooked up. who knows what the computer is actually seeing... maybe the computer isn't seeing a camshaft signal apparently...
