You should be good for 5000 miles and change the filter at the same time. If money is a problem, go for 7500 miles.

Clean oil keeps a engine free of maintenance and will last a lot longer,I go every 3000 miles

Every 3000 miles to keep engine in tip-top condition. This applies to ANY car. Always change every 3000 miles.

it depends on how you treat it. If you beat the hell out of it, 2500 is best. If you drive easier try for about 3_000 miles.

Nowadays, car manuals say to change your engine oil every 5,000 miles or 5 months because the newer cars and newer oils are more efficient than those of the past. However, I would agree with everybody to change it every 3,000 miles or 3 months to be on the safe side because it's an older vehicle.
