Default Trouble with my Toyota Landcruiser?
My Toyota Landcruiser is giving off white smoke when I start it. I have just had a new Cylinder Head fitted plus new shock absorbers. It was giving off white smoke before the Cylinder Head went, why is it still doing it?

Is it a deisel? if it is it is normal especially if you do not give it enough pre heat. winding it over without enough preheat allows to much fuel in before it fires up, that excess fuel is seen by the white smoke

when you first start any vehicle will give off white smoke for a while especially in cool/cold weather. if it goes away after a few minutes probably ok. watch your coolant level and see if it is going down (over days time). if it is going down maybe the new head or gasket did not seal to engine right. or - the new head may have a crack or a leak. Does it ever run rough or mis-fire when you first start it? that may indicate coolant leakage into the cylinders.
