Default 2000 TOYOTA CELICA...Is it a good deal?
Do you think $4,500 is a good deal for a 2000 Toyota Celica that has 131,000 miles on it?

1 its 11 yrs old,,with 130K..stuff goes wrong at about 120K and 8 yrs















2 like















brakes 450 dollars















alternator 200















starter 200















struts for sure 800 tune up? 200 to 400















front end parts,,tie rod ends/ball joints 600 to 800































good deal? maybe maybe not...















1 never buy a car with a check engine lite on..never,,,,,,ever















2 car fax ..a must















3 pay a mechanic 75 to 100 whatever they get to look it over and make a written list...

That is about $1,200 too high for that model with that many miles as can be seen here: http://www.kbb.com/used-cars/toyota/...mileage=131000































It has also been recalled for bad brakes and two other things as can be seen here: http://www.motortrend.com/cars/2000/...lls/index.html































It is hard to fine a Toyota not recalled.































Find something else....

It's a fair deal.































If it's the base model I don't think I would pay more than $3,500 for it. But it all depends on where you live some areas it's worth more some less.































131,000 miles is nothing for a Celica. It will go 500K+ easily if you take care of it. Most of your issues that someone else noted won't start to happen till 200K+.































You are always going to have some things that are going to be replaced simply because they wear out. Brake pads, Shocks, etc. they have to be replaced after so many miles. But that's true of any car. So don't let that scare you.































Just do you research and compare it to other Celicas to see if it's a good deal or not.
