what kind of motor oil for my 1995 camry?

Default what kind of motor oil for my 1995 camry?
its has about 300,000 miles and 2.2l 4 cylinder.

with that many miles... as long as you don't drive in a terrbly cold climate, I'd use a 10w30 wt oil.















I know many are goign to tell you to use 5w30... and I'm sure it would work fine, but the 10w30 might protect your older engine a little better, as its worn in to say the least!































Also a few brands of oil are selling 'max-life' type oils, such as valvoline... I'm sure these would work well too.































just don't use 20w50 or anything dumb like that.















Also don't waste your money on synthetic with an older car with that many miles.

regular 5w-30















the oil it says on the cap, cant go wrong with that.















and brand dont matter, as long as you change you oil every 3,000miles , watever 5w-30 oil is ok

5W30.































Always 5W30. In fact there's no reason to even use 10W30 on older cars.































Oil weights are incredibly complicated. I won't bother going into it here.... but trust me there's little difference between 10W30 and 5W30 and you'll get slightly better MPG with 5W30.
