How much could I get for a 1998 Toyota Camry that blew a rod?

Default How much could I get for a 1998 Toyota Camry that blew a rod?
I have a 1998 Toyota Camry that threw a rod on the interstate. The engine is seized (obviously) so it needs a new engine. If I sold it as is, how much could I get for it?















If yo don't think I could sell it as is, how much would i get if I sold it as a parts car?

If the trans is good and all the body panels, doors and glass is good - i think a salvage yard - or pick your part place might give you 2-300 for it. Unless it is an absolute cherry of a car it is not worth the cost of an engine replacement.

If you sold the parts off it you might get a little more. But the amount of work and trouble it would take wouldn't be worth it.































You are better off either selling it as a whole, or to a junker.
