No, the Prius is not a [fill in whatever group you don't happen to like today here] car. It's the thinking person's car. It's the first car in a long time to use some original engineering rather than just recycling the same old designs, putting a new colour on the sheet metal, and then using massive advertising to trick folks into believe they're getting something new.































In the Yahoo Prius groups the Republican/Democrat split is about 50/50 from what I can tell.

One Prius message board has polled its users, and 56 percent describe themselves as left of center, 36 percent as right of center. This implies at least some Prius owners in the GOP.
