Default 1990 Toyota 4Runner Wiring help?
I want to wire up some LED lights in the driver and all passenger seats footwell area. I only want them to light up when the doors are opened, but I cannot find a wire to tie into which only has power when the doors are ajar. I tested some wires on the map light switches (on|off|door) but could not find one.















Please help!















I looked at the dome light as well, but it confuses me because the plug has 2 wires, one with constant power, and the other has power until the door is opened. Opening the door breaks the circuit and cuts power.. yet the lights are triggered to power somewhere?

Use the dome light wire.

Look for a black/white (-) or Black (-) it's a 2 pin connector, in fusebox.































on the LED lights, one goes to (+) the other goes to one of those wire.. Good Luck..
