ae86 85 coupe question..?

Okay so my kinda friend has a 1985 ae86 coupe he is selling it for 550 i talked him down to 450, now this is a sr5 single cam, and its corroborated, its the stock engine from 85 with 26o thousand miles in it he said he blew the head gasket on it by doing donuts in someones yard in first gear at 7000rpms he said that it overheated really bad on the drive hoe to park it and went through all the water real fast. i have a mechanic in the family that said he could replace the head gasket and the water pump in a day or two for nothing..., now this car besides the engine is exactly what i want















for one its totally dumped it sits about 2 inches off the ground its rolling on red supra celica rims and its completely gutted on the inside just one drivers sear its got little toys like the quick release e-brake now i know that its a single cam and i wont be able to get it sideways unless its raining but i have full intentions on doing a dohc swap in a year roughly.... so my questions are...















































Is it worth buying?































how much longer will this engine last if i buy it?































and if im getting ****ed by this kid and the block is cracked i could definatly sell the shell for 500 right?































is it worth the hassle of replacing the head gasket and all that?































how much would it cost to do a dohc swap or even to drop a rebulit single cam in?
