Default Will a 1993 toyota camry transmission fit into a 1997 toyota camry both have v6?
both these cars i own except 93 one is not being used the 1997 camry im trying to fix up so i need to know before i take it to my mechanic?both have 3.0 litre engines.

Will not work,computer control wirings of the transmissions are different.

I want to say no like everyone else but outside of major styling, they both use the same chassis and engines. 1997-2001 Camrys use a modified version of the 1992-1996 Camrys. It won't be a direct swap but knowing how Toyota generally operates, anythings possible.
