Default What to look for when buying a used Celica?
I am looking to buy a 2003 toyota celica gt 5 speed with 97,000 miles on it and I was wondering what i should check for before i buy it. like common problems and such.

Same as every other car. Make sure its been properly cared for. Look for accident damage. Worn parts.

Look for the car-if you find it - half the job is done. There is no "common problems". You are looking at a 7 year old car with 100,000 miles on it. As far as I am concerned, everything is a problem. Take it to a Toyoto mechanic and pay for a complete inspection. That cost will be less than the cost of the car.
