I don't think (?) it has a "map" sensor. That would be "manifold absolute pressure" sensor. I have checked several Toyota service manuals around that time frame and don't find any reference to a "map". IF you mean "maf" - it has one of those. "Mass air flow" sensor. The new hot-wire MAF's are so accurate you don't need a "map". The MAF is located in the pipe between the air cleaner box and the engine manifold inlet. I don't think there is any "cleaning it". it is heated and "self cleaning". it works or it doesn't. You can run some tests on it with an ohm meter. if it is out of spec - you need to buy a new one. A service manual will tell you what checks to run according to what code is set.
