I just bought a 2000 Toyota solara coupe, their are two buttons on the key fob. The top one both locks and unlocks the car, the second button doesn't seem to do anything. Does anyone know what it does?
That does not sound like the factory Toyota transmitter, which has a seperate button for both lock and unlock. My guess is that you have an after market security system and that the second button is either programmable or it is intended for an electronic trunk release which the 2000 Solara does not have.
