i do not know the year of the mr2 but i got the turbo with down pipe and manafold

With enough time and money anything is possible. The Mr2 is a 4 cylinder, I do not know if the turbo would be big enough to to handle a V6 exhaust, You would not want to put it on one side only. the back pressure would be unbalanced and not good.

If you do it I would not use more that 8 lbs of boost on a stock motor.

You will also need a fuel controller to compensate for the boost.

Any Turbo can fit any Car.

Now that being said, you'll need an exhaust manifold that will fit your engine and the Turbo. That's where you run into problems. Well among other things like how much boost will it make, how quickly, etc.

You won't need the down pipe or manifold. Well maybe the manifold if you end up making your own (and you will need to make a custom one) you can cut off the mounting point and reuse it.

I wouldn't go more than 5-6 psi on a stock motor. Look at getting some bigger fuel injectors too.
