Default When is the Toyota Tundra Diesel Coming out?
Ok i'v been waiting to see the toyota tundra diesel come out but when i looked around on the internet it said sometime in 2009 to late 2010 is that true?

After all the gas Tundras they produced have accelerated out of control because of they crapply designed ETC systems or rust in half, they'll begin selling the tundra diesels so they can have a new generation of Toyotas truck ready to accelerate out of control or rust in half

I heard they weren't due to release them until 2011 and even then it looks dim to all the company's wanting to use diesel except for dodge, vw and merc with their blu-tech diesel exhaust .































Diesels are having a very big problems passing emissions are have been shot down left and right recently, so if they do come out dont expect them to be that great due to the government wanting you to drive a cleaner car.































And toyota tundras are built in texas with unionizing labor.

Not likely. The project has been put on hold, due to the downturn of the economy, and the cost of production. Toyota doesn't want to spend the money to produce a heavy duty truck when they're not certain it would sell enough to make a profit from the idea.































Its a little over 1/2 way through 2010, and there's no sign of them building one. It would be nice, but I wouldn't want the Dually model they had at the Sema Auto Show.

Toyota is holding off until they can resolve the current quality issues that are driving sales down.

If you live in america, probably never thats the only thing i haven't understood about toyota is they never massed produced any type of diesel for sale in the US
