How do you replace the AC belt on a 2001 toyota tacoma?

Default How do you replace the AC belt on a 2001 toyota tacoma?
The belt that turns the AC motor snapped on my 2001 tacoma....How Do I replace the belt? Do I have to remove the fan belt?

You have to remove any belts that are in front of it first.































Toyota must have been dragging far behind most American cars in '01 though if they still used more than one belt for everything.

If your fan belt is in front, you'll probably have to remove it. You can probably figure out the routing of the belt - grooved side of belt goes to grooved pulley, smooth side goes to smooth pulley. One word of advice: get a Gates belt, not the Toyota replacement. I would trust the Gates belt much more.
