2000 Toyota Camry- Reset Malfunction Indicator Lamp?

Default 2000 Toyota Camry- Reset Malfunction Indicator Lamp?
About two weeks ago the Malfunction Indicator Lamp came on. I took the car to Auto Zone and they ran tests to find out the problem was simply the fuel tank cap not being tightened securely.































The Owner's Manuel says that the light will go off automatically over driving the car several times, but I would like to know if there is a way to reset the light?

The light can be turned off with the code reader that gets the trouble codes. Also it can be turned off by disconnecting the battery for a few minutes. It should stay off after the problem is gone anyway, unless the problem recurs. Before you remove th ebattery cable, be sure there isn't a security code you need to apply after reconnecting the battery. The Owner's manual will tell you- sorry that the manual is so thick, but there's a lot to learn about the car.
