Why are these tercels from the same year different?

Default Why are these tercels from the same year different?
I have a 1993 tercel. Mine has a different front end than most of the other 92/93 tercels I encounter in junk yards and such. Why? Here they are to compare, mine being the first one:

Compare the model numbers and compare the manufacturing date. There looks to be some small difference in the headlights and trim.

Models can change midyear sometimes and get facelifts.































If you got one of the early models it could be different than ones made after a certain date but are still considered a '92 or '93.































The only difference I can see is that you have old style 5064 headlights and the other one has newer sealed beams.































You got one that's rather rare. That's all.
