RWD, always has been.
They never at any point offered it in AWD.
I believe the Celica All-Trac was the only thing they ever offered in AWD for a sports car.
The Corolla AE86 is a good cheap drift car too.
I'm not sure what the other person is talking about.
But the Supra is the perfect car for drifting. Good front/rear balance, gobs of power, bulletproof drivetrain. What's not to love?
It doesn't have to be a money pit if you are smart about it. If you are planning on competing at a professional level, yes you will crash, and yes you will spend gobs of money on it.
But if you're just a weekend warrior there's no reason it should be that way. Do courses with cones and no walls, and unless it's your daily driver, you don't have to spend every cent you earn on it.
It would seem nobody understands what drifting is...
Or they are all NASCAR fans. Because anyone who likes Track Racing loves drifting.
Think Indy but sideways. I mean honestly, what better car could you choose?
