They were slow and unreliable, but not for very tall people. Usually they will soldier on for 200,000 miles, but only after major repairs have been done. You should have it checked over. Up to 150,000 miles, if there are no leaks, offer no more than $1,000 cash. Make certain the cam belt has no more than 60,000 miles on it. Having to change them makes it not worth buying.
