How do I get my toyota 4 runner to ride nice?

Default How do I get my toyota 4 runner to ride nice?
My 2001 4 runner is the bounciest car I have owned. Will new shocks help?

If the old ones are worn out and bad, yes. So will changing tires to a highway type tire rather than an off road tire. But do not expect it to ride like a car; it never will. It's build on a truck platform and will always handle and ride more like a truck.

Yep, new shocks and springs can help.































But it's an SUV not a sports car. You'll find the ride will be very harsh if you get too stiff a shock.































I would recommend Old Man Emu springs/shocks.

New shocks will help a little but it will still be bouncy.































It is a Toyota after all......
