You'll have to buy a new Head Unit (or "deck").

But having a Bass setting won't matter if you have the Original Speakers. They were probably marginal at best when new, but now they are worn out. They certainly won't be able to handle a lot of bass.
You can get new Speakers that will have better sound and Bass. But if you want the booming trunk rattling bass you'll have to get a Subwoofer (or a pair).
It gets expensive real quick lol. But do a lot of research. A lot of places will steer you to what makes them the most money. Not what will sound best for your money.
