Default 1994 Toyota SR5 pickup 4wd converion?
I have a 1994 Toyota SR5 manual pickup truck 2wd (the one without the lift). I was wondering if there is any way to replace the drive-train (or whatever else) to have 4x4 capabilities. Then it would need a suspension lift kit. Is it possible for this truck?

It would be cheaper to just buy a new 4X4. With that truck you will need way to much to make it a 4X4.















The frame, trans, suspension, wire harness, ECM, interior, front axle and new rear, if you look you have 5 lugs and the 4X4 has 6.















That is just a start, then with the labor easy $10 to $15K. Just triad in the truck and get a 4X4.

It's possible yes.































But it's so expensive and such a huge headache it's not even worth thinking about.































Many have tried and give up midway simply because the labor and cost becomes too much to handle.































Get a trade your 4x2 for a 4x4. You'll be much happier in the end with the result.
