Default 1994 Camry Do not want to start.?
Hello,















my car was not starting and I talked to a mechanic (my friend) about this. He told me it might be the timing belt and water pump. It made continuous GGEEEEEEEEEEEE sound. I got timing belt and the water pump replaced from a shop. I drove it for a bit and let it sit over night. Now it still have the same problem. Continuous GGEEEEEEEEEEEE sound. I dont know if I need to change the starter on it or do the sparkplug and wire change. Please give me some suggestions. Thank you for reading this.

I'm not very good at english but if it's a high pitch sound you might want to check the belt on the "alternator"(don't know if this is correct word, but it's the part that produces electricity[not battery]).































If it's a mechanical GGEEEEEE then it might be a problem with the starter engine.































And make sure your fluid levels are all ok!

It's got to be bearing failure on the pulley side of an engine, competent mechanic should be able to localize problem, don't replace items w/o know the problem and what caused it to occur.
