Default Whats wrong with my toyota camry?
Whats wrong with my toyota camry....is it sparks plug?















I have a 2002 toyota camry with around 147K. since last month its behaving funny. I have oil change regularly and did sparks plug last year. It makes a loud high noise and if I stop on a hill it rolls back when I try to drive forwards. When I drive at about 25-30MPH it jerks like its about to shut down though small jerks I feel on the gas pedal and shakes the car a little.































my question is, how often should I change the spark plugs. I have done about 20K since I changed them. Also what could be the problem with the noise from the engine and the rolling back and the jerking. What should I have checked. Please help.

You're terrible at writing your question here.... but I'll try and help..































Do you have a check engine light on?















take it to your local dealer, as I'm assuming you dont' have the technical know-how to accomplish anything beyond starting and driving the car, with perhaps that being a bit of a stretch at times.































You can be really nice to the camry of yours a do the plugs every 100000km. They're iridium plugs, aren't they? I think toyota recommends 160000km or so...

When's the last time you had a complete tune-up?















The stuttering could be caused by many things.















The rolling backwards when the car is in drive may be an indication of something wrong with the transmission. Keep in mind automatics will roll back slightly on a hill.















I would advise having a trusted mechanic or a Toyota dealer do a test drive. I have a 97 Camry and these cars last a long time if well maintained.
