I doubt you'll find many used 2010's of any brand/model yet, unless someone simply hated the car after buying it. As for the recall, just make sure the car has been taken in for the recall repair or take it yourself. All brands have recalls, some more important then others. The new Toyota's are still good cars, they just are no longer the class leader they once were. You should also consider the new Hyundai Elantra and Sonata, you can probably get a new one for about the same as the Corolla/Camry but they are much nicer and have that super long warranty.
