Default Nitrous Upgrade For 1998 Toyota Camry 6 Cylinder?
Hey I have a question everyone, is it possible to add a nitrous oxide system (nos) to a Toyota Camry 1998 6 cylinder? If it's possible, how much would it cost? I just wanted to add more power to it, with a toggle switch or something. Thanks

Is it possible? Yes.































Will it be ridicules trying to make a sports car out of a Camry? YES.































It will cost about $500 more than the car is worth.































Buy a Mustang or Camaro if you want speed.































A Camry trying to be a sports car will look like a glorified go-cart.

Instead of trying to put nitrous on a camry, spend your money on a better car

to answer your question. Nitrous cost $500-600, but you need item like a heat blacket and of course the switch, plus pluge *when you see the spray* so about $1,500 with the good kits.































Is it possible? Yes it is. you will gain around 85hp or less. Keep in mind, your camry isn't a sport/performance car. It's engine is not made to handle that amount of force.















You are probably pushing 150hp right now. Nos will boost you to 235hp. 235hp is still weak. That mustang down the road will just laugh at you while still racing by. Fixing up a car that isn't meant for performance is really...pointless.































Like repairing your old Tv tube set. It's.....pointless

Yep it's possible.































And you will blow your motor shortly thereafter.































It will probably cost around $5,000 to buy the kit and install it.































But NOS is incredibly hard on Motors and it will shorten the life of your Motor to a few weeks.
