Default Is a Toyota corolla a old persons car?
Weird question I know but do you think its a car that suits an older person more?















Im 16, 17 soon and out of all the cars ive looked at a 2003 1.4 toyota corolla vvt-i 3 door is the best for price range aswell as a low insurance group at first I thought it looked ok but ive only ever seen old men or women driving them?

More older people probably drive them, but this could be because the older people are also wiser and know Corollas are unlikely to break down.

You are making a wise choice going for a reliable and economical (if a little dull) choice.































Most guys want a mitsubishi Evo for their first car and settle for a broken down rust bucket rather than do what you are doing.































Wise choice, you could also look at Mazda 3's if the Toyota is a little too mundane.































Oh and yeah, it's an old mans car but the reason it's an old mans car is because an old man is wise enough to not buy a flashy badge and get something that will work well and hold its value.

At least you are looking at the alternatives to the usual Saxo / Clio / Corsa's which have been the mainstay of the 'youth' scene. As others have said, reliability is the main selling point. Personally, the Corolla IS a bit bland, so if you can stretch the budget - as Jay Dawg suggests have a look at the mid size Mazda 3. I am 59, & would never consider the Corolla as a mode of transport! I'm happy with my Mazda 6 !!!

Well if you are having second thoughts on the corolla right now... You will be shooting yourself in the foot in a month or two. Get something you actually like because YOU will be the one driving the car.
