Default My 1996 toyota corolla's catalytic converter was stolen 2 nights ago. PLEASE HELP?
The car has over 200,000 miles on it and I need a new one but don't have the money for a new car right now. Any suggestions??? Should I pay for a new catalytic converter?? Is it ok to drive without one?

It won't hurt anything to drive without it.































But you won't be able to pass emissions without it. It's also technically illegal to drive without one.































So don't get caught.































If you don't put in some kind of pipe to take up that space you are going to have a very loud Corolla lol.

like the guy up there said it wont hurt anything. for a cheap converter, measure the diameter of your pipe and go on ebay and i'm sure you can pick on up for under 50 bucks. then take it to a muffler shop and they'll put it on for next to nothing
