Lifting a second generation Tacoma?
I want to lift an '06 Tacoma double cab 4x4. I'm considering the front and rear Bilstein 5100's front and rear with rear add-a-leaf, OR the OME front and rear shocks with springs and rear add-a-leaf that they have on the Toytec lift kit site. Does anyone have experience with either?
I want to run my stock wheels with BF Goodrich KM2's 285/75/16 tires and 1.25" wheel spacers. If I get one of the above two lift kits set to 2.5" or 3", will I need new upper control arms if I get wheel spacers? Will I have any other unforseen rubbing problems or other problems like brake lines or caliper clearance?
Also, will my vehicle stability control still work with lift, wheel spacers, and bigger tires?
