98 4runner front passenger window problem?

The window went all the way down and now it doesnt want to come up. everything from the door works but the window. Also i can't raise the window with driver side switch. And when i push on the button no sound at all. What should i look at?

I doubt it the fuse because all the windows work off the same fuse and the other windows work. And is there some way to roll the window up manually?

more info: the owner of the car couldn't raise the window up from midpoint, so she lowered it. and tried to raise it. and kept on doing it and now its on the bottom. does this help in finding the problem??

I had the same problem with my jeep!

In the door is a motor that raises and lowers the window. One of the pieces in the motor is broken, therefore it does not work. You will need to replace it.

If the window is all the way down, it is hard to get it back up. If you can somehow hold the window and slide it back up, you can tape it to the door. This is temporary until you get the motor fixed.
