ive a toyota yaris 06 plate whats the best wiper blades to use for it (uk only)?

im fed up replacing my wiper blades, after a few months when being used im getting streaks on the windscreen and makes it difficult to see when driving on the motorway. so im looking for good quality wiper blades. can anyone tell me are the flat blades the best to use or are there other blades anyone can recommend.

Having tried various makes etc over the years I've reverted to using the "standard issue" and resigned myself to changing them. I've found that those claiming to last longer tend not to wipe as well, and those that claim to wipe extra well don't last as long. Keeping the screen clean and cleaning the wiping edges seems to do the best with just the standards, and I never let bugs dry on the screen and expect the wipers to remove them.

I once wrote off a complete pair of blades in one long wintry motorway trip, what with all the salt and grit flying around . . .

Don't use Valeo. They are the only ones that I have ever had stretch and fail in 6 months. And their combined radiator and intercooler is the only brand to give trouble in Mercs. And... I won't say anymore. I use Bosch because they are easy to get and last reasonably well.

all wiper should clean well, it's just that dirt, leaves, hard crap in the windshield cause the wiper to wear. leaning your winshield when you know there's too much crap your wiper can clean off helps.

i would get the original wipers from toyota. when it gets worn you just buy the inserts from them which is like a 50cent-$1 each. easy to install. if you dont know, just ask and they replace it for you, free!!
