how much water can a 4 cyclinder toyota pickup haul?

Default how much water can a 4 cyclinder toyota pickup haul?
I have a 1994 Toyota Pickup truck that has four cylinders. I need to haul water to my house while my diesel is in the shop. I have a 250 gal water tank that fits in the bed of the truck. I'm wondering how full I can safely fill the tank so I don't jack up my truck.

Water weighs about 10lb per gallon, and I thought those trucks were good for around a ton. So 3/4 full should be fine.































Just see how much your truck is sinking while you are filling up, and be cautious if your road is at all rough and likely to give some shock loads to the springs.

Water weighs 7.4 pounds/gallon. Factor in the weight of the tank, and the weight of the water. As long as you dont exceed what Toyota say for max weight you will be fine. Check the owners manual or door jamb for max weight rating

8.34x250=2085lbs I would check to see what the factory limit is.
