Default I have a 2000 celica that the check engine light reads misfire. Any ideas on what might be wrong
with it ? My car's check engine light came on a few days after i bought it. Whenever the engines cold, it has a very low idle and tends to rattle and shake when it is first started up but is never an issue when the cars been on for a few minutes. I took it to my mechanic today and he couldn't figure out whats wrong with it. Help !!

This is caused by a cracked spark plug.















When cold the plug is not working. when it is hot the plug is making contact at the point where it is cracked.































NOTE heat changes the properties of Materials.































Just my two cents. Hope that help.

Make sure you drop it off so he can start the vehicle when it's cold.

spark plugs,possable a coil as well?
