how to remove disc brake rotor from a 2000 toyota corolla?

Default how to remove disc brake rotor from a 2000 toyota corolla?
I looked everywhere.. and no luck. I've done the pads before thats about it. I took the caliper out then the axle nut and the disc still not even loose..















got it done... usually they are loose. but the rust made them stick like JB weld.. it had two treaded holes in the rotor. all I had to do is get a screw that fit the treads and after a couple turns the disc came right off.... it took me 3 hours to figure it out. after that I changed the disc, pad on the front and it only took me and extra 30mins. thanks...

Im taking a guess because im not familiar with corollas... however, there ought to be two small holes in the base of the rotor that you can fit a bolt into, put a bolt in one of those holes and turn it with a socket wrench until it pops loose, that is usually the easiest way to take off a stubborn rotor.

Look for a fillet head screw/s in the hub area of the rotor, or retaining clips on the studs. You might have to tap it to break free also.

Your on the right track, but they are probably rusted on there.















Get a good rubber mallet and start pounding on the rotor to get it loose, adding some wd-40 helps a bit.
