anybody know?































from what i can tell, they're exactly the same and should fit, but i'm not exactly the most knowledgeable about mechanics

as long as both engines are from the same type of car.... GT for a GT... GT-S for a GT-S, it should be a perfect swap. When you get it together, you can race my eclipse hahaha good luck.

the best thing would be ask somone who repairs a toyota's celica's for advice about this, they may even give you some helpful advice about how to do it or better still this is heavy engineering doing this he may quote a price to do it.

The engine will fit but the wiring connections won't match.

Yes, it will fit.















But if you are fitting a celica gt-s engine (2zz) in a gt version celica (1zz), then you will have to change the ecu and rev gauge. But if you are just swapping in the same engine from the same model then you are fine.
