Default Would a 99 solara be fine during the winter?
well i've actually got two questions..















1^ Would a 99 solara v6 be fine during the winter to drive.















2. Would you recommend garaging it? Or is driving it in the winter ok.















3. If you recommend garaging it for the winter, but it's my only option to drive, would you still drive it?















Sorry for the "lack of information" but the winter's here can get pretty nasty.. but we haven't seen one that has been ridiculous yet. I live in new york.

Since you give so little information as to where you are in the winter, I would say your Solara should be just fine in the winter, just make sure your anti-freeze is up to snuff, if you live where there is a severe winter freezing temps etc and you do have access to a garage by all means garage it. But the car will survive outside.

With the road salt used in NY driving a Toyota in the winter will be a bad idea since Toyota rusts too easily. I would garage it and drive something that doesn't rust so easy.
