Assuming you have the 6-speed manual transmission (C60 tranaxle), you first remove the center and driver's side engine under covers, then take out the transmission filler plug, which is located halfway up the front side of the transmission. Stick your little finger in the hole to see if the transmission fluid is between 0-5mm of the lip. If not, you need to top it off with API GL-5 SAE 75W-90 gear oil. You may want to use a rubber hose to go from the oil bottle to the filler plug opening. Just route the hose over the top of the LF tire and have someone squeeze the bottle for you while you hold the other end of the hose in the filler opening and watch for oil to start dripping out of the hole. All of this assumes the car is on a level surface. If you want to change out all the transmission fluid, the big drain plug is at the bottom of the transmission on its LH side.
