Unknown warning light on 2010 Corolla flashes when car is turned off?

Default Unknown warning light on 2010 Corolla flashes when car is turned off?
When I turn off the car, a warning light right next to the clock flashes on and off, and won't stop.















This just started today, 1 month after I bought the car.















I cannot find a picture of this light in the manual - it looks like a padlock with a key on the left side of the padlock. I tried locking and unlocking the doors, both with the keyless buttons, and with the actual key, but the light stays on. Any ideas? Thanks.

That's why no one turns off a 2010 Corolla (they just drive around in circles forever). (I'm joking).































Seriously, it is an alarm/security light. It tells you that the anti-theft alarm is working. That doesn't mean that the alarm actually is working, but it means that the system thinks that it is.































Maybe the audio alarm was disconnected? Maybe someone bypassed the alarm system?
