Default What would i have to do before putting a turbo on a celica?
My friend wants to put a turbo on his 2003 toyota celica and i know there is stuff you have to do before to the engine so it doesnt get damaged. What would he have to do?

If you keep the intake pressure to around 6 or 7 psi, a decent running stock engine block should handle that with no major problems, plus you can get away without an intercooler. If you want more pressure/power, you'll need a tougher bottom end on your engine.

Keep the intake below 7psi.































The second thing he will have to do it to find a way to make a Celica look "Cool", so far that has been proven to be impossible.
