rephrase the question please, does it slip while you are in gear? then yes it's a clutch kit problem.
but if you have done a tune up.. and I mean a full tune up on your car and still does that,...
then you have loss of horse power,. does your car burn oil?
this car probably have been used badly, has done races before.. could have over heated many times before , her previous owner didn't take care of oil change on time or tune up on time.. all of these things could and will cause engine losing horse power. which means engine is burning too much gas for not enough power.. it will need an engine repair.
