Anything is possible, if you throw enough $$$$ at it. However, easy swap ?? Certainly not. It would involve a lot of fab & custom work.

i don't think mazda makes a 4 rotor engine but if they did or you use a 3 rotor engine it could be done if you have enough money to do it

It's possible but it would be a very ambitious project. My motorhead brother put a 454 in a Chevy Vega back in the day, just to show what can be done with enough determination. The main advantage you would have is that the Wankel engine is more compact so you wouldn't have so much trouble getting it under the hood. Both are front wheel drive, too.

Swaps of this type are really a matter of figuring out how much of each car will be in the final product. You would probably swap the entire power train into the Corolla so the issue is at the interface. Engine mounts won't be too big a deal although you may have to get brackets fabricated. The drive axles would be the inventive part - the axles the car uses will have to fit the transaxle and also match the track of the Corolla. Getting it to play nice with the Corolla front end could be easy, could be hard... the only way to really know is to start wrestling with it.

So, possible: yes; simple; not very.

hi callumpun,First off,I've never Heard of a 'Four Rotor Engine in a Car,Now I've Seen Some in Airplanes but i'm Assuming you Mean"A Four CYLINDER Engine? if your planning to make the change,You'd Do Best to Use the complete Engine,Transmission And The Wiring harness From The computer to All The Sensors On The Engine And also For The Fuel system,it can Be Done,But Unless your A Really good mechanic,You'd be better of to just find a complete Car,Get in And drive.
