Default Why wouldn't my 2006 Toyota Solara start?
Hi I have a 2006 Toyota Solara and it wouldn't start. I have absolutely no problems at all with this car. The car wasn't making any weird noises, none of the warning lights were on, and my battery is perfectly good. Every time I try and start the car it wouldn't even click over. The only thing that seems to be weird with my car now is that the sun roof is slow on moving after I touch the button. Can someone please tell me what may be wrong with my car.

Don,t assume the battery is good, the starter needs a lot of current to turn over the engine. Just because some lights work is not a test of a battery. The only way to test the battery is to take it out and load test it on a battery load tester. This subjects the battery to the same load as a starter. If this is the original battery, its 4 years old which is a typical lifespan of battery.

You got it good! The engine in my Solara blew from engine sludge and the struts blew out at 5000 miles, not covered Toyota said. Toyotas are defective.
