The best way to check for a voltage draw is to disconnect one of the battery terminals and put a test light in between the battery terminal and the CABLE .If the test light is on then there is a draw on the battery. You then remove all the fuses one at a time till the light go"s out, when it go"s out that is the circuit that the drain/ short is on. If it stays on after pulling all the fuses one at a time then it can be in the alternator or starter or some thing that has power all the time .It also has its own fuse link in the wiring harnesss.
