Default i got an 88 celica 5 speed and my tranny went out only get third and forth gear idk what happen?
i was at my girlfriends house and the car worked fine just like the past and idk by the time i left her house i jumped in and started the car and put it in first gear and it just stalled on me and i figured out that it was only getting third and forth gear so idk what happencan anyone give me an idea of what might be wrong with my car?????????????

You have a sever internal transmission problem that will get worse very quickly if you drive it.































A transmission rebuild is needed.































DO NOT go to the dealer for this.

You may have a broken linkage on first-second gear.Not expensive to replace.
