Do parking lights on 2002 Toyota Rav4 actually work?

Default Do parking lights on 2002 Toyota Rav4 actually work?
I've noticed that the amber/orange parking lights next to headlights on my 2002 Toyota Rav4 never come on, but there is a bulb inside (at least it looks like one). I thot it was needed for turning signal also, but never works. The front does have large turn signal facing forward, under headlights, where fog lamps normally would go.















I have noticed a few other same models also do not work, and I even checked with someone who had similar Rav4, and they couldn't get theirs to work either. Why are they included if they don't work? All fuses are good. Is this a symptom of this particular model? Tried to save $$ by not letting the parking lights work? Thanks.

Look in the owners manual under the bulb specs and see if it shows a listing for the parking lamps.
