should i change starter on 98 corolla?

Default should i change starter on 98 corolla?
Symptoms: - failure to turn over occasionally, starts to turn then just freezes.































- once and a while after I start the car, the starter continues to run even after I shut it off. It takes me smacking the starter with tool to get it to stop.































Should I just order a starter on amazon? And swap it out?

Amazon? unless its an extreme steal stick with the local parts stores if it fails again its easier to exchange it















and yes change that out with those symptoms

Have you checked your fuse? The battery? Ignition Switch or the Starter Connection? If Yes, and they all worked well, then you need to replace your starter. You better go to the nearest Toyota auto parts near your place.
