Default 1996 Toyota Tacoma, 2.4L, 165,000 miles for 7,500?
Well there is this truck I've been looking at...and I'm interested in buying it..but the only thing that concerns me its that this truck has 165,000 miles on it and the guy is selling it for 7,500...isn't that a bit too much for a truck with that many miles on it? What I really want is a prerunner that is already kinda built for going off road and can be used as a daily driver for going to school/work. Can the lift kit and all the work done to the truck raise the price of this thing? If so thats ok I'll still buy it cuz it would take alot of time and more money to lift a stock truck myself...i'm thinking maybe about 5,500-6,000 would be a better price for it...what do you guys think??

Your link did not go through. If this is an individual sale and not from a dealer, I would only offer $4500. If it is from a dealer then I would offer $5000. Definitely have it checked by a mechanic before you hand over any money.

It's a bit much for a 2WD Prerunner with mismatched body panels.































If it was a 4WD model I could possibly seeing it fetching that much. But the Prerunners are much less desirable due to the fact that they only have 2WD.































When you say going off road. Do you mean Desert Running or do you mean Rock Crawling/Trails?































Because if you are going to do anything more than go Prerunning (Desert Racing, think Baja 500). A 2WD just isn't going to cut it. If you want to do Rocks and Trails get a 4WD.































I wouldn't pay more than $4,000-$4,500 for it. Mods included. The Prerunning crowd is a select bunch so I doubt it'll go anywhere anytime soon.

miles are not to bad but the asking price is a little to much the blue book value of that car is only $3,000. U can get something way much better for $7,500.
